The Dedication of Burbeck Field
in Honor of Perry James "P.J." Burbeck
For his long-standing interest and support to the School's atheletic endeavors and especially his tireless efforts as sports TimeKeeper,
on Friday 28 Sept 1952 the Football Field was dedicated as
Burbeck Field

After 31 years of service to the Downey Unified School District, P.J. has just recently retired from his position as Mechanical Drawing Teacher.
Many of us remember his directing our presentations and penmanship as we aspired to be architects and engineers.
