The Re-Dedication of the Gym
in Honor of Donna Ganser Boose (DUHS-1951)
For her long-standing participation, interest, and support to the School's atheletic endeavors,
on Thursday 6 May 2004 the Gymnasium was RE-dedicated as the
Donna Ganser Boose Sports Center

After 42 years of service to the Downey Unified School District, Donna had just recently retired from her position as the Deputy Superintendent.
Many of us remember her early athletic abilities - dating from her playing baseball in grammar school.

In addition to the presentations made by the Principal, Superintendent, and the Board of Education, Donna was also presented with a Proclaimation by the Mayor of the City of Downey, Kirk Cartozian (DHS'91).
