The following Italicied E-Mail message of 4-weeks ago has yielded no positive responses, and your VIKING re-consideration would be appreciated. (the number is now up to 6 inquiries) DUHS'53-ers - Likely to be Interested: In the past couple of months I've had 2 inquiries about the possibility of 60-th reunion this year. Owing to what I figure would be a smaller turnout than 10-yrs ago, my thought is that we really don't need a professional planner to help us through such an endeavor. While I still have a fair-to-good set of E-Mail and street-mail addresses, I'd prefer not to undertake the management of the event. As I see it the tasks are ... .- set a date/time .- make arrangements with a venue .- set a price .- open a bank account (with MINIMAL cost/fees) .- accept reservations .- make the needed bank deposits .- pay the venue .- give the remainder to charity (maybe the School?). My recommendation would be a noon-time buffet lunch on a Friday/Saturday at the RioHondo Country Club in late Oct or early Nov. If anybody is willing to take a step or two forward to manage/spearhead the operation, then I'll be most happy to send out invitations/notices to the best contact info that I have on file. Let's keep in touch. Go Vikings,, /s/ Hugh
